Systrantic publishes research and education on systematic trading systems for stocks and exchange-traded funds. It is operated by Palmarius Technologies (Pty) Ltd. This disclaimer forms part of our Terms of Use. Please also read the Privacy Policy.

The Service is not a signal service, not personalised investment advice, and not an instruction to buy, sell, or hold any financial product.

2. Not a financial services provider

Palmarius is not an authorised financial services provider under the South African Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS). The Service is not aimed at people in South Africa. We do not furnish FAIS advice and we do not perform intermediary services. If you are in South Africa and you want financial advice, use an authorised financial services provider. Reading the research from South Africa does not make us your adviser.

We are also not registered or authorised as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, portfolio manager, or investment firm in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Australia, or any other country. Nothing on the Service is an offer, a solicitation, or a personal recommendation to enter a transaction.

3. Orders you may see

Paid access may show orders a research system generated, including the instrument, side, and the timing, price, and related fields in the research record. We do not publish target allocation percentages for you to copy into a portfolio.

Those orders describe the research. They are not instructions to you. We do not connect to a broker, place or route orders, or manage money. If you enter a similar order yourself, that is your own decision, at your own broker, and at your own risk. We do not encourage it, and we do not help you do it.

4. You can lose money

Trading can result in loss, including loss of your capital. Live results will differ from the research because of timing, price, size, costs, taxes, liquidity, and market impact. We do not know your objectives or financial situation, and we do not assess whether any research is suitable for you.

Test results, including continuous backtests, are hypothetical. They are not a live track record. Unless a page says otherwise, they may not reflect commissions, spreads, slippage, taxes, borrowing costs, or market impact. They can be affected by hindsight, data errors, and the assumptions of the test.
